COMPOSITION FOR HIDING SCRATCH OF BOTTLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for hiding scratches of a bottle capable of hiding the scratches occurring in a repetitively used glass container such as a beer or a refreshing beverage without affecting performances of a label applied to the bottle at all. SOLUTION: This composition for hiding scratches of a bottle is obtained by compounding (1) 100 pts.wt. of an aliphatic hydrocarbon having 5-500 cSt kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C or a diorganopolysiloxane having 5-500 cSt kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C with (2) 1-2,000 pts.wt. of an aliphatic hydrocarbon having <5 cSt kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C or a dimethylpolysiloxane having <5 cSt kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C as components.
