PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise due to contact/collision of the object to be carried and improve the working environment by providing a noise reducing effect to table rollers in the steel material manufacturing line. SOLUTION: This table roller has a roller barrel 1 densely filled in its inside space with noise absorbing and vibration damping materials composed of granular, flame retardant, light materials. The noise absorbing and vibration damping materials are, for example, chaff, perlite, etc. The resonance/vibration of the roller barrel 1 due to contact/collision of the object to be carried is effectively damped by the noise absorbing/vibrating damping material filled inside. A noise reducing effect is achieved without much increase in roller weight and without requiring modification of the related equipment (driving motor, etc.).
