PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge scraping apparatus which is made inexpensive by simplifying its structure. SOLUTION: In a sludge scraping apparatus equipped with a machine body 12 which can move freely in the bottom part of a sludge sedimentation basin 1 by means of traveling means such as wheels 27 or endless wheels and others, a scraper 22 which is installed in the machine body scraping/non-scraping mode- convertibly, and a driving means for driving the machine body 12, the traveling means are arranged symmetrically near the sidewall 2 of the basin 1, between the traveling means, the scraper 22 is fitted freely rotatably forward/backward in a spread state, converters 36, 38, 40, 41 which can change the posture of the scraper 22 are arranged in the basin 1, and the machine body 12 can move forward/backward independent of the scraper 22.
