PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing box in which a door closed condition of an opening part of a storing chamber can be surely held even in the case where it gets into an inclined condition by oscillation or vibration or during transport. SOLUTION: In this storing box 1, a storing chamber 11c is parted by a shelf board 11d, and a door body 12 is formed at a front end opening part to be freely opened/closed. The door body 1 comprises a metal linear member bent in a U-shaped form in a front view, free ends of an upper and a lower horizontal frame parts 12b of the frame-like door body 12 are pivotally installed on an opening side end part of a storing box main body 11 to be freely opened/ closed, and in addition, a locking recess 11g opened in the width direction of the storing box 1 is formed in a front end surface of the shelf board 11d, so a vertical frame part 12a of the frame-like door body 12 is removably locked to the locking recess 11g from a side part. Even in the case where the front end opening part of the storing chamber gets to an inclined condition by oscillation or vibration at the time of an earthquake or transport, or during transport, therefore, the door body 1 surely holds a door closed condition of the opening part of the storing chamber.
