<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure mechanism for the connecting rod rupturing and splitting device capable of accurately rupturing and splitting the connecting rod into the connecting rod body and a bearing cap on the prearranged rupturing and splitting surface by orientating the split when the connecting rod is to be ruptured and splitted and minimizing deformation caused by rupturing and splitting. SOLUTION: A device for rupturing and splitting a connecting rod 1 integrally formed with a bearing cap and the body side, to which the bearing cap is connected, into the body and the bearing cap be pressing a wedge into a bearing on the larger end side of the connecting rod 1 through a split mold can accurately rupture and split the connecting rod 1 into the body and the bearing cap on the rupturing and splitting prearranged surface by orientating the split when it is ruptured and splitted into the body and the bearing cap by the prearranged point of rupturing and splitting of the connecting rod 1 into the body and the bearing cap on outside of the larger end of the connecting rod 1 being composed so as to press it. Besides, deformation near the bearing can be kept to minimum by the rupturing and splitting being easily accomplished.</p> |
