<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bogie having direct drive type rubber tires, which can eliminate the necessity of gear mechanisms by directly rotating running tires (rubber tires) by mean of main motors so as to reduce noise and the weight of the bogie. SOLUTION: A rubber tire bogie 1 has running tires 2, 2, 2, 2, two on the right side and two on the left side, and the running tires 2 are directly rotated by main motors 3 having outer frames which are coupled together by means of crossbeam members 4 having an H-like shape in a plan view so as to form a bogie frame 7. The crossbeam members 4 are resiliently coupled on left and right sides to a vehicle body by means of rubber springs 5, 5. Each of the main motors 3 is of an inner rotor type in which an inner rotor is rotated relative to the stationary outer frame, and the associated running tire 2 is provided to one end of the inner rotor. The bogie frame 7 is provided with a pair of guide wheels 13, 13, 14, 14 on the front and rear sides thereof.</p> |
