PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the inclination of a cutting bar at the time of cutting and the transfer of vibration, or the like, to the hands of an operator. SOLUTION: This air turbine head has a rotary cylinder 20 having turbine blades 21 on the outer periphery in its central part, a chuck mechanism 30 disposed in the rotary cylinder 20, bearings 22, 23 disposed on both sides of the turbine blades 21 and O-ring members 15a, 16a interposed between these bearings 22, 23 and the inside wall of a head case 10. The head rotates the rotary cylinder 20 by blowing air to the turbine blades 21. The inside wall of the head case 10 has a face 10' extending in parallel to the bearings 22, 23 toward the turbine blade 21 side. Inclination blocking members 15b, 16b are interposed between the face 10' and the bearings 22, 23. The O-ring members 15a, 16a and the inclination blocking members 15b, 16b may be integrally formed or may be formed as separate bodies.
