PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber component for producing a vulcanized rubber sheet used for a dust-proof mat in which the coloring contamination and deterioration of piles due to a vulcanization accelerator in the vulcanized rubber sheet are prevented with high vulcanization speed and excellent productivity, and the dust-proof mat. SOLUTION: A rubber component is used for a vulcanized rubber sheet attached to a mat comprising a ground fabric, piles tufted on the surface of the ground fabric and a packing layer formed on the back surface of the ground fabric as desired. Sulfur vulcanizing agent, thiazole vulcanization accelerator and dithiocarbamate vulcanization accelerator and/or thiuram vulcanization accelerator are blended in the rubber component.
