PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shoes both for fishing and for mountain-climbing which protect a user from a danger of slipping in the longitudinal or right-to-left direction when a seaside rock or a climbing road is very steep, or the ground is slippery with rain, and is easy to fit climbing irons. SOLUTION: Shoes both for fishing and for mountain-climbing include a bottom part and a heel part of the shoes, edge projection parts 5, 9 of a specified number are formed on edges of the bottom part and the heel part, and center projection parts 13, 21 of a specified number are similarly formed on a center part of the bottom part of the shoes. A longitudinal anti-slip groove to prevent the slip in the longitudinal direction is formed, and a longitudinal anti-slip groove to prevent the slip in the right-to-left direction is formed in the center part of the bottom part of the shoes. The edge projection parts 5, 9 of the bottom part and the heel part of the shoes, and the center projection parts 13, 21 are arranged in a shape corresponding to the shape of climbing irons to easily fit the climbing irons.
