PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low floor type railway vehicle bogie which is longitudinally short, which has a simple structure and which can ensure a get-on and-off property. SOLUTION: Wheels 2A, 2B are directly rotated by main motors 3A, 3B, respectively. Rubber springs 11A, 11B, 12A, 12B are interposed between spring retainers 9A, 9B, 10A, 10B provided to the main motors 3A, 3B and a vehicle body. The spring retainers 9A, 9B, a vehicle body side bracket, and the outer frames of the main motors 13A, 13B and another vehicle body side bracket are coupled together by rod members 13A, 13B, 14A, 14B. The left and right spring retainers 9A, 9B and 10A, 10B are coupled together by means of connecting beam members 15A, 15B which are located below the center axes of the wheels 2A, 2B.
