PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent rain water and other water from entering into a car compartment through core metal supporting holes, without need of performing any specific processes, such as adhesion of sealing tapes after die forming, and to thus improve sealing efficiency as well as to reduce manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A holding channel 37 extends from a mounting base 35 that is engaged with a window frame flange 34. A main seal lip 39 extends from a connection between the mounting base 35 and the holding channel 37 and closely contacts the inner peripheral wall of a window frame 31. A core metal 42 is embedded in the mounting base 35 at least partly in the longitudinal direction thereof. Metal holding holes 43a, 43b are formed during die forming and positioned on the outer side of the main seal lip 39 near the outside C of the vehicle. Even if the rain water enters from the core metal holding hole 43b and flows through clearance around the core metal 42 into the other core metal holding hole 43a, the main seal lip 39 reliably shields the rain water, thus keeping the rain water from entering the car compartment.
