PRINTING MEDIUM AND PRINTING-RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing medium and a printing-recording medium which permits protection of a coloring layer from light and also execution of easy handling and further permits execution of printing at a desired timing. SOLUTION: A printing medium 31 is constituted by providing on a base 22 a thermally coloring layer 23 which develops color by heat and is fixed by light and by providing on the thermally coloring layer 23 peelably a light- intercepting sheet 32 which intercepts the light on the thermally coloring layer 23. A printing-recording medium 36 is constituted by providing the thermally coloring layer 23 on the side of a print presenting surface 20a of an optically recording member 20 which has an organic dyestuff layer 25 being a data recording layer and a light-reflecting layer 26 and further by providing peelably the light-intercepting sheet 32 which intercepts the light on the thermally coloring layer 23.
