<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly cleave a lid cleavage wall and to increase the reliability and safety of a cleavage position by extending the depth of cleavage grooves from the back face of an air bag lid to the interior of a skin layer, and forming cleavage energy absorbing grooves with the depth to the thickness intermediate section of the air bag lid continuously to the cleavage grooves at the terminal ends of the cleavage grooves. SOLUTION: An olefin thermoplastic elastomer is used as a molding material to form an air bag lid 11, it is provided with a cleavage wall face 12 located to overlap along the back face of an instrument panel core material 20 and peripheral lid side walls 13 extending in the back face direction of the air bag lid 11 from the side edges of the cleavage wall face 12, and ribs 14 protruded from the side wall faces to increase the binding force with the instrument panel core material 20 are formed. The cleavage wall face 12 can be smoothly cleaved along the cleavage grooves 15 by the expansion force of an air bag, and the occurrence of cracks at positions other than the cleavage grooves 15 can be prevented.</p> |
