PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent formation of a dead angle in a skylight window, and to facilitate operation in the upper section of a working machine by installing the skylight window, in which one end has an opening and which is formed in a U shape, so that the opening is arranged at the front end of a ceiling wall. SOLUTION: A skylight window 30 is formed in a U shape, in which a front is opened, and formed in a constitution, in which no obstruction such as a sash bar is mounted on a front section. In the connection of the skylight window 30 and a canopy 20, an H rubber is used as a rim and the window 30 made of glass or plastics is fixed or the window 30 is bonded and fastened directly onto the rim with adhesives. An L-shaped sectional transparent body such as tempered glass, plastics or an acrylic resin, etc., is bonded on the upper side of a U-shaped window frame with adhesives in the window frame, and a metallic pipe made of thin steel, etc., may also be used as the reinforcing material of strength in the window frame. Consequently, since the front section of the skylight window 30 is opened, a visual range is not disturbed, and the excellent visual range is obtained. Accordingly, operation in the upper section of a working machine can be facilitated.
