PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage device having both manual and electrical operations, surely opening and closing a drain faucet with excellent controllability in either manual operation or electrical operation, and detecting an opening and closing state of the drain faucet to prevent a malfunction. SOLUTION: A drain faucet is provided on the bottom of a bathtub in a freely openable/closable manner, and a mechanism for holding an opening state of a drain faucet 11 is provided. In this case, since a driving section driven by a manual push button for executing manual operation and energization and transferring power to a wire section 30 is provided to an operation section 20 for controlling operating and closing operation of the drain faucet, the drain faucet can be surely opened and closed even in either manual or electrical operation and, at the same time, controllability is not impaired.
