PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swimming aid equipped with a rotary fin which can efficiently convert the reciprocating motion of arms of a swimmer. SOLUTION: This swimming aid is equipped with a mounting member 5 to mount the swimming aid on arms of a swimmer, a square frame 2 connected to the mounting member 5, and one or more rectangular fins 1a equipped in a flat plane of the frame 2. The one or more rectangular fins 1a are engaged with the frame 2 by support shafts 3a displaced from the center line of two sides by a prescribe distance and held to make each fin face rotatable around the support shafts within a prescribed angle of 0-90 deg. against the plane including the center line of the support shaft by stoppers 4 on both sides of the frame 2.
