PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only prevent lubricating oil around rolling bodies from leaking outside a bearing device, but prevent oil from leaking between the rolling bodies by providing seal plates outside repective rolling bodies, and also providing seal plates on the inside. SOLUTION: On the respective outsides in the axial direction of balls 3, 4 for a first row and a second row, outside seal plates 10, 11 respectively blockading between the large diameter shaft part 1a of a double step shaft and a sleeve outer ring 2, and between an inner ring 7 and the sleeve outer ring 2 are fitted. Further on the respective insides in the axial direction of the respective balls 3, 4, inside seal plates 13, 14 are provided. By this constitution, lubricating oil around the balls 3, 4 to be the rotational part of a bearing device, outer circumferential rolling grooves 5, 8, inner circumferential rolling grooves 6a, 6b, and retainers 20 can be prevented to the utmost from leaking outside the bearing device or between the balls 3, 4. Consequently, noise or vibration due to shortage of lubricating oil can be prevented from generating.
