PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an adverse effect on a vehicle body behavior by mechanical or electrical performance errors by providing a connecting pipeline between first and second diagonal piping systems, and providing an inter-system differential pressure adjusting member having a volume chamber capable of allowing the differential pressure within the prescribed pressure between brake fluid pressures on the pipeline. SOLUTION: This brake device is provided with an inter-system connecting pipeline 501 connecting a piping region surrounded by a differential pressure control valve 6, the boost control valves 7, 8 of a pressure increasing/decreasing actuator, and the discharge side damper 13 of a pump 9 in a first piping system A and a piping region surrounded by a differential pressure control valve 36, the boost control valves 37, 38 of the pressure increasing/decreasing actuator, and the discharge side damper 33 of a pump 39 in a second piping system E. An inter-system differential pressure adjusting member 500 having a volume chamber 502 constituted of a piston 503 and a spring 504 is provided in the middle of the pipeline 501. The spring constant of the spring 504 is set to a value in the range capable of allowing the differential pressure between the pressures of wheel cylinders 4, 5 of the right front wheel FR and left rear wheel RL and the pressures of wheel cylinders 34, 35 of the left front wheel FL and right rear wheel RR.
