PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal the tip of a fuel injection valve surely. SOLUTION: This engine is provided with a fuel injection valve 13 inserted in a cylinder head 8, a flange 13a formed on the outer periphery of the fuel injection valve and a fixing member 76 for fixing the fuel injection valve to the cylinder head. The fixing member has a fixing part 76a fixed by a bolt 77 to the cylinder head 8 and a press part 76b extended in a fork shape from the fixing part and engagingly locked to the flange 13a, and forms a curved surface R to at least one of the fixing surface and engagingly locking surface of the fixing part 76a and press part.
