PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow adequate massage by constituting the massager so that it asks a user about questions and judges his/her physical condition based on the answers. SOLUTION: When power switch on an operating portion is turned on, a starting screen 40 and a main menu 41 are sequentially displayed. The main menu 41 is displayed so that each of four items, a special treatment course, a manual course, an asking course, and course information, can be selected by means of respective switches. When the asking course is selected, an asking course starting screen 44 is displayed, and an asking 1 screen 51 to an asking n screen 52 are sequentially displayed. A user alternatively answers 'yes' or 'no' for each asking by a switch operation. A control portion receives the answers, judges user's physical condition, sets an adequate special treatment course for the user, and displays it. When it is judged that the user's physical condition is a prohibition state prohibiting any massage, a stopping screen 54 is displayed. Thus, a massage suitable for the user's physical condition can be performed.
