PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a complex ceramic having both characteristics as a dielectric substance and characteristics as an NTC thermistor, capable of miniaturizing the mounting area of a thermistor capacitor parallel circuit by mixing a perovskite-based dielectric substance with a metal compound oxide NTC thermistor in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This complex ceramic is obtained by mixing 10-90 wt.% of a perovskite-based dielectric substance with 90-10 wt.% of a metal compound oxide NTC thermistor. A barium titanate-based perovskite-based dielectric substance, a lead titanate-based perovskite-based dielectric substance, PLZT or their mixture are preferable as the perovskite-based dielectric substance. A sintered compact of combined several kinds of metal oxides of metals such as Fe, Ni, Co, Mn, Zn, Cu, Al, etc., can be used as metal compound oxide NTC thermistor. The complex ceramic is obtained by preparing each of the perovskite-based dielectric substance and the metal compound oxide NTC thermistor by blending raw materials and burning (800-1,000 deg.C), mixing fixed amounts of these substances and sintering the mixture at about 1,000-1,200 deg.C. |
