PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display or print a chart so that is can be easily read when a prepared production plan is displayed or printed as a Gantt chart (linear table) in a production plan preparing device for automatically preparing the production plan for plural products. SOLUTION: The order of priority of production facilities which are allocated for every process, is set by a priority setting means 2. A work disassembling- treating means 3 reads data on manufacturing order and manufacturing conditions from a manufacturing order storage area 1a and a manufacturing condition data storage area 1b in a memory part 1, and analyzes the operations of respective products into process units. An allocating means 4 allocates the analized operations to respective processes in accordance with the allotted priorities. When the prepared production plan in displayed or printed as a Gantt chart, a joggling control means 5 automatically changes the number of displaying columns and the number of printing columns in response to the displaying density or the printing density.
