PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material for controlling the emergence of soil disease damage, having strong points of a chemically synthesized agrochemical and a biological agrochemical, overcoming their weak points, namely having stable inhibitory effects on emergence of soil disease damage and slight load on an environment and to provide a method for using the material. SOLUTION: This material comprises a solid fine particle formed by adding aluminum to a solid fine particle to be applied to soil while leaving an electric charge, namely a solid fine particle containing about 1-15%, calculated as Al2O3, of soluble aluminum, such as soil produced at a water purification plant, weathered volcanic pumice stone, or the like. The emergence of soil disease damage caused by a pathogenic fungus in soil such as a fungus of brassicaceous clubroot can be prevented by subjecting about 10 tons to 100 tons of the material for controlling the emergence of soil disease damage to soil dressing on 1,000 m2 field. |
