PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle having a drive force assisting device in which a same frame as that of a general bicycle can be used, and a reduction gear for transmitting an auxiliary drive force and an electric motor are not interfered with a foot on a pedal. SOLUTION: The drive force of a drive force assisting device 20 is transmitted through a braking drum 8 of an internal expanding brake device 20. A same frame as that of a general bicycle can be used to reduce the manufacturing cost, the drive force assisting device 20 can be arranged so as not projected too much from a bicycle body and prevented from being interfered with a foot on a pedal, and the convenience is also excellent.
