DENTAL PHOTOIRRADIATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to directly subject a lesion in the oral cavity to photoirradiation by arraying chip type light emitting diodes along a dental arch. SOLUTION: The shape of the dental photoirradiation device is formed to a mouthpiece type to allow the insertion of the entire part of the dental arch. The inside wall of the recessed part 15 of the mouthpiece 10 is arrayed and provided with the chip type light emitting diode(LED) unit 20. A controller 26 for controlling irradiation time and irradiation intervals is embedded into the mouthpiece 10 and the outside of the front surface is provided with a switch group which consists of a switch unit 25u and assigns the irradiation region. The mouthpiece 10 is occluded by the upper and lower dental arches and the prescribed switches of the switch group are pushed. The lesion part in the oral cavity is directly irradiated with the light for a prescribed time and at prescribed number of times only by the simple manipulation. Then, the dental photoirradiation device which is good in efficiency and is excellent in convenience in spite of a small size may be obtd.
