PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gutter support for allowing everybody including unfamiliar workers and workers extremely poor in physical strength to easily, instantly and positively position and fix a separation preventing member to a gutter support body with single sliding action toward a forward looking portion while preventing the return thereof to a backward locking portion, simply by sliding to put the separation preventing member in contact with the ear of a gutter without troublesome rotating operation of thumb screws, even if the gutter support is mounted at a high place. SOLUTION: A gutter support has a gutter support mainbody 1 provided with a separation preventing member 2 slidable forward and backward of a gutter 3 for preventing the separation of the ear 3a of a gutter 3 from a forward locking portion 4. At least one of the separation preventing member 2 and the gutter support mainbody 1 is provided with a return preventing means for preventing the return of the separation preventing member 2 to a backward locking portion 5 side in sliding the separation preventing member 2 to the forward locking portion 4 side.
