PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facing material supporting hardware easy to construct, light in weight and excellent in aseismatic property and an outer wall structure for a building according to an exterior heat insulating technique using the supporting hardware. SOLUTION: A supporting hardware 1 includes a supporting bolt 1B to be fastened to a body wall 4 and a reinforcing member 1C consisting of mounting portion 2 and a plurality of supporting plates 3. Each of the supporting plates 3 has a bracing structure ranging from a wall face contact portion at the end 31d of a bottom side 31 toward the end of the mounting portion 2. An outer wall structure for a building includes the body wall 4, a heat insulating material 5 and a facing material 6, wherein the supporting bolt 1B of the supporting hardware 1 may be fastened to the body wall 4 and the facing material 6 to be mounted at the end of the supporting bolt 1B projecting out of the reinforcing member 1C.
