PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any possible stagnation in a paper sheets handler from occurring by surely storing those of paper sheets in a paper sheets storage in the case where there were such paper sheets being different in forms in the handler and or conveyed in an attitude defective state during the conveyance in existence. SOLUTION: A push-in plate 608 moving those of bills P1 being held in a bill take-in space 616 to a storage space 617, and two partitioning plates 611 and 613 avoiding any interference between those of bills P2 stored in the storage space 617 bills to be conveyed to the bill take-in space 616 are all installed in a receipts safe 6 stacking the bills upright. In addition, it is also provided with a push-in auxiliary guide 609 which moved the bills P1 unevenly stacked in the receipts safe 6 to the storage space 617.
