PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the refrigerating machine oil having compatibility with refrigerant not including chlorine and having excellent lubricating characteristic and chemical stability by using the aromatic polyether oil having a benzene ring having ether linkage in the basic oil structure thereof as a refrigerating machine oil. SOLUTION: As the refrigerating machine oil stored in a bottom part of a hermetic container 2 of a refrigerant compressor 1 in a refrigerating cycle, aromatic polyether having a benzene ring having ether linkage in the basic oil structure is used, and as a coolant, carbon dioxide (CO2) not including chlorine and having high polarity or ammonium (NH3) is sealed. Since the aromatic polyether oil as the basic oil structure having the ether linkage does not include ester group in a molecule, hydrolysis is not generated by the existence of moisture in comparison with the ester oil. In a refrigerating cycle, a danger that the deviation progresses in a friction surface and reacts with the metal so as to generate the metallic soap to be a cause of the clogging of an expansion mechanism 5 is eliminated, and a refrigerating cycle having remarkably high reliability can be obtained. |
