摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust a direction of an optical axis of a vehicular head lamp by correcting a displacement caused by running on to a curb stone and the like during parking on the basis of an output of a vehicular height sensor. SOLUTION: A rear height measurement value (the amount of displacement of a vehicular height on a rear wheel side) is inputted to an ECU 20 from a height sensor 11 installed on a rear part of a vehicle. A front height calculation value (the amount of displacement of the vehicular height on a front wheel) is estimated on the basis of the rear height measurement value and a traveling state of the vehicle by a vehicular speed sensor 12 to work out a pitch angle of the vehicle. An error occurs in the pitch angle if the vehicle runs on to a curb stone and the like during parking, so that a standard pitch angle is renewed when the vehicle is in a constant-speed traveling (a stable traveling) state. By the ECU 20, the error is canceled even before finishing one trip, and an actuator 35 is driven to suitably adjust a direction of an optical axis of a head lamp 30.</p>
