PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying carriage easily moving on the floor surface having many steps, having a simple structure and can easily be operated by providing multiple liftable support members lifting and supporting a base below the base mounting a conveyed object, and providing vertically movable moving means having wheels at the lower ends. SOLUTION: This conveying carriage 1 is provided with two front front wheels 7a and two front rear wheels 7b provided on the right and left of the front section of a carriage main body 2, two rear front wheels 7c and two rear rear wheels 7d provided on the right and left of the rear section of the carriage main body 2, i.e., eight wheels in all, two lifting jacks 4 on the right and left of the rear section of the front rear wheels 7b, two lifting jacks 4 on the right and left of the rear rear wheels 7d, i.e., four lifting jacks 4 in all, on the inside of the wheels 7. When the wheels 7 are to be lifted, a lock releasing wire is pulled by an operation lever 3 to release the locking of cylinders 6, then a lifting wire is lifted by the operation lever 3. The lock releasing wire is loosened by the operation lever 3, the cylinders 6 are locked at the prescribed positions, and the positions of the wheels 7 are fixed.
