PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move or turn mirror bodies properly between their used and retracted positions via a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: A support case 7 includes a rotation mechanism comprising a driven gear 8 mounted on a support shaft 3 of a mirror body, a driving gear 9 for rotating the driven gear 8, and an individual power transmission shaft 10 for transmitting the driving force of an electric motor 4 as a drive source of rotation to the driving gear 9 and a switch means 6. A friction clutch 20 is arranged to check the transmission of the driving force of the drive source of rotation to the driving gear 9, if driving torque above a fixed level acts on the power transmission shaft 10.
