METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONVERTING NC DATA IN THERMAL CUTTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an NC data converting method and a device thereof in a thermal cut processing machine which can easily convert NC data to other processing machines of different conditions. SOLUTION: When an NC data against a conversion source thermal cut processing machine is converted and used for a conversion target thermal cut processing machine, a data reading part 11 first reads the NC data of the conversion source. Then, an intermediate data converting part 13 picks up processing tool moving codes for commanding the relative movement of the processing tool from the NC data of the conversion source, and a conversion processing part 15 adds codes and processing conditions required for the conversion target thermal cut processing machine using the NC data to the picked up codes, for forming NC codes.
