<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-melt ink capable of materializing properties such as water resistance and high printing speed characteristics without selecting the base material of the hot-melt type inkjet system while having sufficient fastness for ordinary office and domestic uses. SOLUTION: A hot-melt ink comprises 5-99 wt.% (meth)acrylic acid based copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 500-30,000 which is obtained by copolymerizing 10-90 pts.wt. (meth)acrylate ester and 90-10 pts.wt. vinyl ester and/or styrenic monomer. The hot-melt ink is used in a hot-melt inkjet printer which liquefies the solid ink at normal temperatures by heating and jets the liquefied ink on to a material to be recorded to form recorded dots.</p> |
