FORMATION OF VISCOELASTIC FLUID MATERIAL FLOW AND PRODUCT MANUFACTURED THEREBY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly apply an omega (ω)-shaped pattern on a base material by forming arched sections with first and second side sections, converging the first and second side sections of the arched section and then diverging the pattern outwardly almost in the opposite direction. SOLUTION: A repeating omega (ω)-shaped pattern formed of a viscoelastic fiber-like substance 20 is formed by feeding a viscoelastic fluid material at the first speed to form a first fluid flow 12 and feeding a second fluid at the second speed along both faces of the first fluid flow 12 to form separate second fluid flows 14 and 16. Arched sections with first and second side sections 24 and 26 are formed on the omega (ω)-shaped pattern thus formed, and the first and second side sections 24 and 26 are first converged facing each other and then divered toward outside almost in the opposite direction before the first and second side sections are jointed with corresponding and adjoining arched sections 32 and 42.
