PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct an operation of advancing a tip of one pen lead and an operation of illuminating the tip simultaneously by incorporating a light emitting element in a cover body, and rotating the body and a cap body. SOLUTION: In the state that a sounding chip 28 is not brought into contact with a battery 23 and not energized, a cover body 1 and a cap body 4 are relatively rotated. At this time, one pen tip 12 is advanced from a pen barrel 6 and a guide member 15 mounted at the other pen lead 3 pushes the battery 23 so that the battery 23 is brought into contact with the chip 28. Since the chip 28 is further brought into contact with an electrode plate 25, a light emitting element 5 is lit up. In order to turn off the emitting element 5, first the body 1 and the body 4 are relatively rotated in an opposite direction to that in the case of turning on the element 5. Thus, the contact of the member 15 with the battery 25 is released. Then, the contact of the battery 23 with the chip 28 is released, and the element 5 is turned off.
