PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for easily coupling or detaching a movable plate to or from a base member with a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: A pair of movable plates 18 are axially supported to a base member. Binding levers 22, 24 are respectively formed at inner surfaces of the plates 18. An operating lever 46 is contained in the base member 12. The lever 46 is always urged by a spring member 52. A stationary bearing 32 is formed at a side edge of the member, and a movable bearing 54 is formed at the lever 46. A guide hole 56 is formed to have a part obliquely extended from an outside to an inside of the lever 46 in its width direction. A guide pin 44 is formed to be fixed at one end and to protrude at the other into the hole 56. When a force is applied from the end of the lever 46 in a longitudinal direction, the pin and the obliquely extended part of the hole 56 are cooperated, and the bearing 54 is guided to the member, and the plate 18 is detached from the member.
