PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen the efficacy of a health adjuvant mainly comprising Angelica shikokiana Makino and to improve its ingestion properties. SOLUTION: The objective health adjuvant mainly comprises a powder of Angelica shikokiana Makino a powder of Zizania latifolia (water oat). The ratio of the two components is 50-80% of Angelica shikokiana Makino to 50-20% of the water oat. When Angelica shikokiana Makino and water oat are mixed at a ratio of 8:2, evidently synergistic effect can be observed against allergic rhinitis without any lowering in their phaemacodynamic effects and in addition, the protection and enhancement of systemic physical conditions and smooth ingestion are markedly improved, thereby permitting a long-term intake. According to the present invention, other nutrient auxiliary agents such as usual vitamin preparations can be combined thereto without any trouble. This auxiliary agent can be used in the preparation forms of tablets, granules, capsules and the like in addition to the powder form.
