摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the maximum joint angle of a tripod type constant velocity joint and to facilitate assembly of it. SOLUTION: A cutout step part 33 directed toward an opening part of an outward joint member 1 is provided on a head end surface of each tripod shaft 23, a needle bearing 36 is stopped from falling by installing a small diametrical snap ring 32 on the each tripod shaft 23, and an inward joint member 2 is assembled on the outward joint member 1 in a state where a large diametrical snap ring 34 is engaged with the cutout step part 33 by surrounding a roller 3 of the each tripod shaft 23 on a tripod type constant velocity joint furnished with the cylindrical outward joint member 1 having a plural number of guide grooves 12 extending in the axial direction on an inner peruphery, the inward joint member 2 having a plural number of the tripod shafts 23 coaxially arranged on the inside of this outward joint member 1 and projected to the inside of the guide grooves 12 and the rollers 3 provided on the each tripod shaft 23 free to rotate through the needle bearing 36 and to roll in guide grooves 12.
