PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the physical burden on a person to be attended by providing an equipment to keep the posture of lifting a hips in changing a diaper. SOLUTION: A hip lifting device is provided with a knee-resting cushion 2 on a body 1, and a knee is placed thereon. In this stage, the hips need not be lifted yet, and the hips are naturally lifted by several centimeters by turning the body in the direction of a head. A knee-resting bar of the cushion 2 is of recessed shape, giving a mechanism that an appropriate clearance is provided in a thigh to easily attach/detach a diaper. By changing the position of erecting the stopper, the difference in height can be coped with, and if a person to be attended can grip the body, the diaper change can be conceived by holding the body and pulling it to himself. The body is simple in structure and light in weight, and easy in movement and setting, and the burden of changing the diaper and attending can thereby be extremely reduced.
