PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spicy seasoning exhibiting both taste and scent inherent in capsicum and citrus, with no loss of both the taste and scent even after preserved for a long period of time, and relatively low in the content of common salt mixed thereinto for the purpose of its preservation and seasoning as well, and to provide a method for producing the spicy seasoning. SOLUTION: This spicy seasoning is obtained by putting into a closable vessel a mixture comprising ground full-ripen capsaicin-contg. capsicum fruit, ground full-ripen citrus rind and a small amount of common salt. |
