<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with a simple structure, capable of conveying trays wherein eggs are placed with their conveyance direction aligned so as to be constant completely, in conveying the trays on a conveyer. SOLUTION: This conveyance direction turning device for egg tray consists of an endless conveyer 6 formed so as to be narrower than the short side of an egg tray 2, a pair of lifting rods 5, 5 which are disposed on the diagonal line of the egg tray 2 under conveyance on both sides of the endless conveyer 6 and formed so as to protrude upward from the endless conveyer 6 and rotate in the opposite direction respectively, and a lifting means 15 and a rotating means 8 for the lifting rods 5, 5. By operating the lifting means 15 and the rotating means 8 with the detected signal of a direction detecting means 7 of the egg tray 2 disposed at a prescribed position near the endless conveyer, it is possible to turn the direction of the egg tray 2 on the endless conveyer 6.</p> |
