<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering control device capable of guiding a vehicle positively along a road while giving priority to a driver's will. SOLUTION: An ECU 13 obtains assist force corresponding to actual steering torque T and generates the assist force by controlling a current I to a motor 14. In the case of needing to rotate a steering wheel clockwise to make a vehicle travel along a road, assist force acts only on the clockwise rotation of the steering wheel 11, so that the counterclockwise rotation of the steering wheel 11 is heavy. In the case of needing to rotate the steering wheel 11 counterclockwise, assist force acts only on the counterclockwise rotation of the steering wheel 11, so that the clockwise rotation of the steering wheel 11 is heavy. In the case of not needing no rotate the steering wheel 11, assist force acts on both directions.</p> |
