PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust cover structure for a steering column, provided with both waterproof sealing and dust sealing functions by one member and capable of sufficiently obtaining the waterproof sealing function. SOLUTION: Dust cover structure for a steering column comprises a rubber plate 1 integrally formed of a waterproof seal part 3 and a dust seal part 5. The waterproof seal part 3 inserted between a hole cover 7 and the periphery of an opening part 6a opened in a floor 6 to pass through steering shaft 15 is provided at four corners with cutout recessed parts for passing through bolts for fastening the hole cover 7 to the floor 6, and a lip 9 at a part spaced from the fastening seat face of the hole cover 7. The dust seal part 5 for closing the opening part 6a of the floor 6 is provided with a hole 4 pierced with the steering shaft 15. The rubber plate 1 of such constitution is interposingly clamped between the hole cover 1 and the floor 6 by bolt-fastening the hole cover 1, and the lip 9 is pressure-contacted to the floor 6 by this compressive force.
