PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the clutch-off posture of a clutch pedal well and depress a clutch pedal smoothly. SOLUTION: This holding mechanism 2, which operates a clutch by depressing a depressing-type clutch pedal 3 to conduct switching operation of engine power from an engaging condition to a disengaging condition, and holds the clutch pedal 3 in a disengaging posture at the disengaging position, is constituted of a locking protrusion 35 formed at a downward position on the depressing side of the clutch pedal 3 and a clutch hook 21 rotatably-pivoted by a spindle 20 on the depressing side and has a notched hook part 21b engaging with the locking protrusion 35. The clutch hook 21 is made to serve as the holding mechanism of the clutch pedal for a traveling working machine, which is formed with a relief surface 21c pointed from a hook part 21b toward the front end.
