PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus which achieves a higher cleaning performance by enabling simple removal of stuck foul while preventing moisture causing a dew condensation from dripping onto a material to be cooked. SOLUTION: A thin film layer having one or a plurality of behaviors of holding water, affinity to water and decomposing oil is formed on an inner lid 44 covering the top surface of a body 1. The affinity to water and the decomposition of oil given on the undersurface allows simple removal of persistently stuck foul such as the rice grains on the under surface of a lid body using a kitchen cloth impregnated with water. The affinity to water and the retention of water given by the thin film layer to the undersurface of the lid body 31 prevents moisture generated during the cooking from causing a dew condensation in water drops on the undersurface of the lid body 31.
