PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dew from occurring and reduce the thickness of the lid by fixing a heat transfer plate in a part facing a metal steam discharge device on the top of a heat radiation plate. SOLUTION: Steam produced during cooking is discharged from steam holes 19 to a steam port through a steam discharge device 17, at this time oneba (sticky rice broth) contained in the steam is separated in the steam discharge device 17. When the cooker shifts into the mode of thermal insulation, a lid heater 33 is energized, and a heat radiation plate 16 is heated to prevent condensation from occurring in the underside of the heat radiation plate 16. At this time, in the parts contacting the steam discharge device 17 through packing 18, heat conduction from the lid heater 33 is slower than when the radiation plate 16 is made of aluminum. As the heat capacity, however, is large to the extent that the heat transfer plate 29 is fixed, heat gradually accumulates in those parts, preventing condensation from occurring. As the heat transfer plate 29 is thin, the thickness of the heat radiation plate 16 does not increase practically.
