PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively inform a player that a ready-to-win condition will be generated in a game using a variable display device of a game machine. SOLUTION: The special symbol display device as a variable display device of this game machine has a first, second and third variable display parts 15a-15c. When a ready-to-win condition is generated, a player is informed in advance that the ready-to-win condition, in which the variations of the first and third variable display parts 15a and 15c stop to display the same symbols, will be generated by the upward scroll display in the first and third variable display parts 15a and 15c and by the downward scroll display in the second variable display part 15b. By the upward scroll display, it looks as if the symbols in the first and the third variable display parts 15a and 15c were moving upward, and by the downward scroll display, it looks as if the symbol in the second variable display part 15b were moving downward. |
