PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a string-shaped book marker with fragrance provided with good operation properties. SOLUTION: A book marker 1 is formed of a marker string 11 and two decorative small articles 12 provided with an aromatic substance such as a potpourri fitted on both ends of the string. The book marker 1 is put between pages of a book 3 or the like for use, and the decorative small articles 12 are fixed or set removably on the book marker string 11 so that the marker is positioned not to be caught in between the pages of the book 3 or the like when the book marker is used in various kinds of modes.
