PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating applicator for coating with uniform coating trace with a suitable coating liquid discharging amount by grasping the relationship among a coating tip width side of a coating tip, a sectional area of a liquid amount control part and a coating liquid viscosity. SOLUTION: In the coating applicator comprising a coating tip mounted forward of an opening of a flexible container body having a coating liquid containing chamber provided therein; a coating tip width size L of the tip, a sectional area S of a liquid amount control part at a coating liquid flow passage and a coating liquid viscosity P contained in the chamber satisfy a formula: 2.5<=log (PL/S)<=4.4. |
